Hey Wilkie, I've the same drun box has you, the small pouch. Did you ever knocked that thing when operating your SAW? I might go too rough when I play but since my CA original bipod flipped and made my drum mag EXPLODE, I'm a little more scare.

I've been lucky with it so far, though I don't go too rough with it. My biggest fear is the plastic clip that holds it on breaking, but it seems sturdy enough I guess. I have a back up one just in case.

Just getting ready for OP: Nonods..
My Project de Jour - a greatly improved flexible LMG mount for my Airsoft Stoner 63A LMG, mounted to my Kawasaki 250 ATV field mule. I love vacation quality-time spent in the garage Extra horizontal arm added between base mount, and upper portion of the gun mount portion. As shown in picture, it is in vehicle-movement/at rest position, with the box-mag resting upon the horizontal arm. Both ends of the horizontal arm rotate 360 degrees, allowing the Stoner 63A LMG full range of elevation and traverse. Thinking of a big-arse "fuck-off" halogen spot-light gimbled to the top portion of the gun-mount, and a small mounted shield forward of the top portion of the gun-mount to complete the effect. And.. getting a little closer - I said i'd follow through with a big-arse spot-light for an upcoming OP .. mount done. Wiring in, paint, and lexan shield to closely follow. Police-spec door spot-light re-purposed. I've had this kicking around in the garage for better than 20 years, awaiting a purpose.
and the business end.. |

So I'm thinking for one of my many winter projects, I'd like to lighten my saw a little bit. I was just going to purchase a shorter barrelled saw with collapsing stock but now foresee my other money pits getting in the way.
I'd like to put a para stock on it, but up till this point ran a big 3300 mah 9.6v in the stock. What would people recommend instead? My idea was to maybe run it on a 7.4v lipo through a Peq2 or 15. I don't know a thing about lipo, and frankly am not sure if I can use a battery small enough to fit in a peq15 while still be worthwhile in a saw. Or would people go a different route? |
