I recommend getting a wrist pouch for that 101. The pins aren't that robust and there's the risk of them popping when you bump up against stuff. The 401 has a more solid pin design.

I got the 101 and a LBT pouch for work and it's good to go. It's a good piece of kit when you want a quick grid reference and you can't be arsed to whip out the DAGR. In addition, the 215 Gear pouch has a flap that covers the screen.

Thanks for the info Puggs. I remember seeing yours the last time we met up. And ya, I can confirm the pin system is arse. I'm on my second set...

Thanks for the heads up

Tell me what I can change, what's wrong, or what I could add to make it look closer to the real Mk18 mod0

-PS- I know I'm missing the Aimpoint with proper mount, and the paintjob is not actually used, but a tan gun in a forest doesn't work too well :P

Youll need an A1 style pistol grip, which I believe is straight with no finger groove (it's wrong on mine as well)
The Aimpoint mount is called a Wilcox mount.
You have a 14.5 inch barrel currently, youll need a 10.5 inch (i think).

Hey, I'm not so worried about being EXACT, but I want it close. I forgot to mention the barrel, I was going to get one when my bank didn't hurt so much. Is there anything else I should do? What I'm specifically looking into is...where do I find the glow sticks, and the little buttons on the bottom of stock?

1: Canadian Tire or most camping stores for green or red ones. IR ones.... the interweb.
2: These are earplugs... there will probably be some at Canadian Tire too.
