I really like the overall size and look of them. Like a compact version of a MK46

The stoners are notorious for having warped (proprietary) mechbox shells, from what I've seen, the holes for the spur gear bearings aren't lined up and causes the spur gear to fail. Only solution if your mechbox is bad is to do a few small mods and put in a regular V2 mechbox shell

Do you know what the difference between the Stoner and an actual v2 box is? I haven't taken mine out yet to compare. Everywhere I've looked says it's just a regular V2.

I 100% expect the gears and piston to fail, as is tradition with shitty G&P internals, replacement parts are already on their way

Its definately proprietary. Just a little bit different shape. Looks reinforced a little and a little longer. I gamed mine HARD all year without changing a damn thing except for the 150 spring someone put in to get it over the border. Damn thing would BARELY cycle on a fully charged battery and was shooting about 490. I have had zero issues with the gun itself since I swapped the spring. Box mag occasionaly collects debris and jams but its easy to clear.

Well, mine is shooting ~405fps, doesn't sound particularly unhealthy (aside from standard "meh" quality factory shimming and sub-par internals), I'm testing it on Sunday, so we'll see if she lives.

It's just got tabs to line up to the hop chamber adapter, but otherwise it's the same size as any V2
