Wow, that's like a $4000 set up. LOL

I wonder if you can shave off that front nvg shroud and then drill holes and throw on the VAS shroud.

Why didn't you mount the ContourHD onto the rail?

You could probably shave down the vas shroud, but just easier to buy the carbon helmet at that point.

Contour is easier to position change with velcro.
Quite strong, stays on there.

+ there is a little spot on the helmet for a lanyard, just haven't bothered attaching it yet.

I finally got my Base-Jump Helmet in Multicam. I don't have super fancy shit attached to it though just goggles and a MS2000 Strobe (pics later).
It's a fuckin' awesome helmet though!

I just hope they make one with just the shell and not the intergrated shroud.. I'd buy one right away.

If I were you I'd just shave down the shroud. Or DIY one based on a CVC helmet.

My very nearly finished replica MICH TC-2000, just awaiting a new USGI chinstrap to replace the awful one it came with.

Was Tan when I got it, sprayed it Khaki (including the goggle retention straps) and then snakeskinned it with some Olive.
Soon to get a PVS-14!

MICH TC-2000
Ops-Core VAS NVG Mount
Rhino arm
MS-2000 Strobe

I tried my hand at camoing my helmet. There are a lot of great looking helmets here, I was trying to get a AOR 1 style on mine. Your thoughts or suggestions, since my stencils didn't work out, I ended up hand painting the semi-digital pattern on. Sorry for the crappy pics my camera is down so I used my laptop cam.

Hey Panzer,

Did you cut and re-sew the ESS goggle straps to fit on the Ops-Core ARC rail attachments or...?? I was looking to do something similar but none of my goggle straps are of the 2-piece variety so wondering what you did there?
