Had a customer yesterday ask or a m170 spring to put in his Thompson. We told him it wouldn't work with stock parts. He said its okay, he already took the old spring out. The guy left half the gearbox screws in and pried the back of the gearbox open far enough to take the spring out. He's confident he did a good job even though his gearbox is completely warped now.
Sometimes wish there was a minimum requisite intelligence level to be allowed out of the house. |

Someone loves to use drywall screws in places they don't belong.
There was another screw right behind the rear body pin. You can still see the hole it made.

Yea, the entire gun had to be redone and almost everything had to be replaced. Bill wasn't cheap.
