Does it look like these can take those Modular gearsets or not?

It... should. I hear the original gears should be fine for most springs required to be within usual field limits here. Although I'm considering an FTK, I may just get some metal bushings, proper shimming, some sort of nice piston, and a silent piston head... to get it up to around 380-390fps.

Cheers,
Alex

I wasn't thinking of doing anything fancy other than an M110 and probably a new piston and piston head. I guess I might as well do metal bushings too if I'm doing 110.

Gomez How does that have to do with this, We all get that you want to buy a gun and go play in a forest just to get shot by your local ert. But Incase you have not noticed there is a legal issue behind you buying that gun. Even if your parents buy it for you. Either you are the owner of a replica firearm or you parents are giving you unsupervised access to a firearm either way your are screwed, If your parents are caught they will be screwed if finding a job later in life, See jail time, Get confined to canada, And get a lifetime ban for firearms.

Come back in 2-4 years.

Well, by the looks of it, seems this gun is getting good reviews. Any sites that you guys know of that I can buy it off of? It's sold out on buyairsoft.ca, and that's the only one I know of :S

Buyairsoft.ca is reliable and their prices just dropped.

I'm not saying they're unreliable. Just that the Kraken is out of stock there, and I kinda want to get it as soon as possible

Hmm... well, I'd use the regular Krylon, I haven't tried the fusion one, although it sounds more suitable...

Do multiple coats, let it dry for a while. It says to wait a week to make it chip-proof.

If you do it properly no, Although i sanded down the shine on my grips because it was like a big reflector indoors

i bought one yesterday with the OD furniture

It chrono's at 350, has some nice weight to it and with a mini battery and a hicap mag, i was happy but not sure yet

well i fielded it today at dr jimmys host at flagraiders and it worked very very well

i was expecting problems at that price point but none

my TM ak47 kept dropping the top receiver but this low$$soft gun was solid

it features a CYMA 028 mechbox which sounded fine and should last some time i suppose

get one as a backup or as your first gun and you will be happy expecilly when an entry level gun really seems to start at $400 bucks or so

with $400 bucks u can get the gun. bbs, and clothing and goggles
