Thank you Jonas, my point exactly.
sukivan may well be brilliant. But then again maybe not. Maybe he's a kid with a pipe dream. Or maybe he IS the airsoft god of our time. I will not judge him but let history be the judge. If a prototype is made and it works, beautiful. If not, oh well, another kid amongst millions with dreams never fulfilled. It happens everyday. Like Edison said, "I've never failed in my inventions. I just found a thousand ways that didn't work". But then a pneumatic cylinder with aluminum. He's 18, some of his boosters are 17. I'm 34 and change. I work with materials for a living. I can tell you now aluminum is a waste of your time. Brass maybe, but the harder the metal the better. Stainless (304 grade+) is better yet. There's my contribution to your project.

I Would like TM or ICS to make more Russian guns, I like the ICS ak74, but I dont think TM should have made the beta spetsnaz instead they should have made a ak74su, and maybe some Russian pistols like the makarov or the stechkin aps. Also I wish they will make a affordable Draganov. Just my opinion.

I think this deserves its own thread though! As soon as you as you have some progress on the prototype, I suggest you start off fresh! Cheers! Alex |

I thought you had access to CNC machining, as stated in this post:
http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthr...990#post382990 to create something of this complexity: A bunch of sheet metal and thin hobby brass tubes ARE NOT GOING TO REVOLUTIONIZE THE MARKET!!!! I want something that is going to withstand the damage of play, not fall apart due to cheap shoddy materials. Sheet metal, especially the 22-26ga material that you are using is shit, thin brass tubes are shit, now that you are actually showing materials, this whole process looks like shit. Yes, you may eventually make a gun that will work for yourself, but it will not be factory viable. This is a joke and until you actually show a viable workshop and some skill, then don't bother posting this crap. -Daes |
