Use the M-93 Motor from ebairsoft.com, low cost, high magnets, and powerful enought (would cause overspin without the ASCU in single shooting)

OK, I made some modifications.
Problem was in air leak between air nozzle and bucking.
Tappet plates (it is new) front side was bent to back and air nozzle does not moved enough to forward. I've heated tappet plate, made 90 degree of front side of tappet plate and air nozzle goes far of.
Also, i've increased length of hopup spring.
After this modifications FPS is increased from 440FPS to 482FPS. This result is with Guarder SP140 spring.
I will research further, because I think currently it have air leak also, because with SP140 it is bad result.

I did just that and when I plugged in the battery, the motor constantly spins and I hear no beeping. Somehow I think I fucked up the control unit.

You can get part H1565-ND for the connetor and H1577CT-ND for the pins from digikey.ca to replace the connectors.

The pins are a pain to fit, so order 100 to make sure

That micro switch looks fragile. What are you guys doing to prevent the trigger from breaking it if pulled too hard?

After my TM stock trigger contacts took a shit on me a few months ago I decided that it would be a great time to buy the ASCU and try it out.

Ever since I have installed this thing my rifle has not been useable. At the same time I was also posted away to go on course and I am finally back in a situation where I have my rifle again and can try to get it fixed. Getting it fixed is top priority for me right now since Echo1 shit the bed with the trigger design for the M240. I JUST replaced it and it broke again before i could even fucking game it >_>

I NEVER had ANY problems with the rifle until the trigger contacts bit the dust.

The problem: Shoots once or twice then gives me 2 buzzes and does not shoot again unless I re-connect the battery.

According to the manual this could be a few things.

1. Tight shimming
2. Motor too high
3. Poor battery
4. Weak motor
5. Broken gear
-----------------------------
1. Gears spin freely, even tried shimming them loose.

2. Tried every height setting, even removed the highest adjustment compleatly.

3. Tried with multiple charged batteries, all 9.6V and one 7.4V 20C Lipo.

4. JUST replaced the stock TM EG MAX Hyper 1000 with a G&P M120 today.
Gun is only shooting 350 FPS on 0.2g, so not a very strong spring anyways. It was shooting 380 when I bought it back in 2008.

5. Gears are fine.

This is really pissing me off. I would like to see the ASCU work but if I have to go back to mechanical trigger mech I will.

Did you check to make sure that the cutoff lever is tripping the unit? Some cutoff lever (worn ones) won't go up high enough to trip the unit in SEMI. Either bend the cutoff lever (if it's steel) so as the sector gear goes around, it tips the cutoff lever higher, or get a new one.

How high should it be going up?
Its moving a good 4mm ish and was tripping the mechanical trigger mech just fine.

I would assume that the unit would not stop spinning the motor if it was not tripped by the cutoff leaver.

I had the same issue with mine and the issue was a worn down cut-off lever. I would get and new one and try that.

Just fine isn't good enough. The lever on the trigger should go completely up. You're getting off a few shots then the unit realize there's nothing tripping the unit off, so it goes "beep" then shuts off. I've see this many times now, and most of it was due to worn cutoff lever, or it wasn't tripping the unit off.

Don't use a prommy cut off lever though. They're too big and will snap the sensor arm off.
