You missed the "1", lol. It's an extra 140 rounds per double magazine pouch.

I have my own mentality when it comes to ammo caps: I can't carry any amount I wouldn't be able to with real rounds. So right now, with my current fitness level, I limit myself to 5 mid-caps, loaded with 35 each. As I improve my fitness, I will slowly carry more, up to 10 midcaps for a 300 (more or less, with hop up loss) loadout. Hell, half the fun of using the rifles is reloading in my opinion! Why rock a battle-rattle when you are playing airsoft? If you want massive ammo amounts, go play paintball. (LMGs are the obvious exception)

LMG and MG are the exceptions to the rules for our real cap games. They are allowed to carry from 800-1000 rounds but are limited to 1 weapon per squad.

I personally don't care if a P90 user loads his mags to 50 rounds. Wait till he runs out and walk up to him and knife him before he can reload a new mag.

Yeah, that and I've never seen a P90 with good range. Even upgraded to the nuts they seem to be wild cards compared to most standard ARs.

Uh oh! Maybe I should start taping rubber knives to my P90 mags lol

There's about 3 of us that run P90's on my "field". Out in the woodland environment they work just fine. I find the P90 much easier to belly crawl with (for obvious reasons) than my M4. M4 has the better range though. (obviously)

Its double the width of a mag so I figure its 100 rounds in a pouch vs 60 in the pouch

I used to run 200 rounds in the lmg for cqb, no big deal.
For outdoor games, just have 200 in the box and 600 on you, simulating extra belts of ammo

I guess if you were running 100s, you'd technically only need 3/4 of them, versus 8,10,12, etc.

He probably has to rest that gun on the piece of plywood not for stability while shooting but due to the weight he can't keep the gun in the air.

Give me a LMG any day if that was the case.

Your average 5.56 NATO round is about 4 grams, so 100 rounds would equal close to 1 lb. your gun would actually be lighter still than many AR platforms. If someone decided to lighten their weapon with Magpul, or other lightweight parts, accessories, sights, it would be quite doable. However, I'd lean towards the 60 rounders for ergonomics. They'd still fit in a double magazine pouch, and are not much longer overall than a standard magazine. It's almost worth it.

4 grams is the bullet weight but the full cartridge is 12 grams. So, 100 rounds would be about 3 lbs.

A basic M4 with the Surefire 100 rounds mag would weight about 10 lbs.

Ya Lindsay, Your from bc. I thought you'd know the difference between 4 grams and 12 grams. Especially when a 5.56 is the same size.

So your still looking at nearly two pounds per magazine, even in the sixty rounders, not including the magazine weight itself. Still, weight is in the center of the gun, and that platform could still be lighter than many others. Those magazines would however create more weight in one spot on your loadout, and wouldn't do much for slimming your profile.

It's hard to say wether or not they'd be a reasonable option over the standard.
