Vltor sbr9-v2

VLTOR SBR9-V2

  • Airsoft:
  • WE Open Chamber System
  • Dytac VIS-2 Upper Receiver
  • Dytac KAC Combat Trigger Guard
  • Dytac KNS Anti-rotation pins
  • Dytac Oversized Magazine Release Button
  • G&P VLTOR VC-1 Compensator
  • G&P VLTOR Gas block
  • HurricanE EOTech 552
  • Real steel:
  • Magpul CTR Stock
  • J P Enterprises Ambidextrous Safety Selector
  • Tango Down BG-16 Rifle Grip
  • Troy Ambidextrous Magazine Release
  • Troy Modular Combat Vertical Grip
  • VLTOR BCM Gunfighter Charging Handle
  • VLTOR RE-1 Receiver Extension Tube
  • VLTOR Scout Mount
  • VLTOR Sling Eng Plate
  • +Various Armalite small parts

I'm looking to add some more real steel parts in the future, maybe even a real steel VIS-2.
The lower receiver is a stock blank WE receiver that was custom engraved by David Bordieri from Imperial Engravers. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants custom engraving. He is just awesome to deal with! The receiver was engraved to replicate the real steel VLTOR lower receiver.

Do you find there to be some wobble in the VIS2 system?

None at all. In fact, it's so tight that I have to squeeze the upper and lower together just to be able to push the body pins into place. To eject the pins, I have to use tools, unlike before when I could do it all by hand.
Beware: Dytac VIS receivers tend to get loose, separating the rail from the upper. It's not really a one-piece receiver like the real steel. You'll have JB Weld it back like I did.

Ah. That was what I was referring to. I have the VIS1 and have the same issues. Looks like it's not just my copy.

Mother of God man, that is the largest mag release button I have ever seen.

Shitty phone pic, but this is the last pic of this platform. Selling it to a friend, then I'll be moving up to the G&P Magpul M4.

(side note, anyone have a good source on a repro M600C?)
