Ah this is the type of thread I miss, personal opinion is that airsoft was definitely better when it was harder to get into and everyone knew each other. Too much drama and what not nowadays.

PS did Props Canada stuff ever get resolved?

LOL! Agreed, back in the day, we used .20s and we liked it. And field FPS caps were at 300FPS, which meant you had to be sneaky. None of this 400FPS stuff the kids have today. They dont know how good they have it!

I remember the Props Canada fiasco. The prices were nuts! I ordered a TM SR15 for $350, which at the time, was INSANE. I got my money back fortunately.

Here are a few pics from a game at Area 51 on the 22nd of December of 2002. I dont think Area 51 is around anymore, or if it is, its under a different name. They were out towards London, ON area.

Agit Prop is in there, Malinak is in there (first time I met you, your wife was there that day too), MadMorbius is in there. Nolat, Claymore, Halo, Mini-T. Meta/Meat/Sean was there that day, but I cant seem to find you in the pic. That was the first day I met you in person too.







And here is a pic from the same day of WolfPack, EBat. Both Toronto and Ottawa platoons at the time. Nolat lookin sexy up front.

Hey guys.
Malinak here checking in from Greece. Living here for the last year in the Thessaloniki area.
Debating on playing with one of the teams in this area. Abondoned army bases make great fields, and to there are many to choose from.

Knowing this thread is years old and still kinda active really makes me miss the old days. Man, did we have fun.
Now days I have no responsibilities and am just looking to have fun again. Not sure if I can get the new girl to play, but would be fun trying.

Holey shit! It's Mal!

I am devastated to hear that BabyOh and you are not still together. My memory of all of Team Colostomy Bag has crystalized into a rigid vignette that I must assume still represents reality. I find it difficult to find that Agit Prop has more or less dropped cigarettes (the AUG I bought from him actually still smells of ciggies!) for this newfangled vaping thing.

I hope that you are well and am heartened to hear that you are still alive.

Meanwhile I rue the shocks and prangs that have depreciated my body. I feel like an old, but reliable Toyota Corolla which is slowly accumulating faults. I did a partial knee ligament tear a few years ago which acts up from time to time. A couple weeks ago I attended the birthday party of a friends child at a trampoline park which also featured a ninja obstacle course. All the reflexes are still there, but my mental map of what I can do is well out of date. The trick knee is acting up, lower back got tweaked, and I managed to do a partial ligament tear on one of my fingers by flinging off of something and grabbing a ledge. Something that would have been an easy dynamic move when I used to rock climb a lot, but now damages me. I stuck the grab and moved to the next thing but something went pop and the knuckle got swole.

Heey, next weekend I'm going to play airsoft! I should get an actual colostomy bag (new of course) on ebay and turn it into a dump pouch! MOLLE colostomy bag dump pouch (is MOLLE still used?).
