Seriously, safx, stop rubbing that GSR in my face. It is so damn beautiful.
And RM, as usual, your excellent picture taking skills make us all extremely jealous, and really show off the beautiful pieces you have. Terrible photography, and a 100% WIP, but here is another shot: *I know it looks like an orange magwell lol. But is in fact red. In the future: red trigger, new hammer, new barrel.

It would be better if you could see it in person. The color is extremely messed due to my terrible camera.. Do need DSLR...
In person, it looks very nice and clean.

I like the red accents too.
A red trigger would be a nice addition. Maybe you can anodize another part.. chamber? Anodized parts always look faded in shots using flash. I would paint the slide and frame/comp the same black. Anodized parts and painted ones don't match well. Nice gun though.

Nice, red triggers usually are more expensive..
Maybe it would look better with this? http://www.prohandgun.com/index.php?...roducts_id=208 If you are planning to shoot in CAPS, go for optics since your gun is already placed in the Open Divison. Here's what you could do. Red C-more, http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwol...l?prodID=27775 G&P mount red base, (sucks I thought there was red.. LOL) http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/gandp-sco...ng-silver.html red magazine release button, http://www.prohandgun.com/index.php?...roducts_id=203 red cocking handle. http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwol...l?prodID=28316 |

Wow, thank you for those links, Hitman! Didn't even know there was a red mag release... Beautiful..
I've got a black frame mounted mount base already, so I am good to go for that. I am going to be getting one of the Illusion Kinetics triggers, just oxidized to red. Safx: The colors are a lot more similar when you see them in person. While I do eventually plan to color match, it will be down the road. That being said, how would you recommend I go about color matching them?

Well since both your slide and
frame are quality finished, I would simply use a spray paint. I use Tremclad high heat enamel, flat black. I pop the parts in the oven, seem to help the finish. I know that sounds crude, but I've had nice results painting over a good black finish. And any minor paint wear will be hard to see due to the original undercoat.
