So I just tried the battery that I charged with my new SOCOM Gear Li-Po Charger with Balancer and everything is all good and working now!

Now fires perfectly in semi-auto and in burst mode. But when I hold on to the trigger in burst mode to set it to full-auto, it seems hesitant. Like, it misfires every other fourth shot. Any ideas on how to fix this issue?

during full auto cycle? or when it switches to full auto from burst?
there should be a short pause from burst to full auto.

it 'can' be a problem with the switch in your gearbox. my friend's UMP (v3 gearbox) has some studdering issues in full auto im trying to fix for him.
make sure you have good contact in your switch assembly.

How do you make sure that you have a good contact in your switch assembly if they're connecting pretty good already?

I also made another video of what's happening, you can download it from here:

Well, I was able to fix my problem with the switch assembly not letting me fire in full-auto. All I did was sand down the corrosion on the trigger contacts and soldered a piece of copper on to the 2 separate contact pieces that make contact with the selector plate together. Below is a picture of the 2 pieces on the switch assembly. I hope this helps you out with your friend's UMP, since it also has a version 3 gearbox like my SIG SG552.

yep, that is one of the issues with this switch assembly, during full auto the vibration causes those contacts to loose contact with the selector plate.
this problem isnt there with my VFC 416 since the switch assembly doesnt have those contact points.
i have a G&G UMP and a TM G36, both of them have studdering issues. also these V2 gearboxes have quite the long trigger pull, so im modifying mine and removing the copper plate contacts with a Tact Switch this should reduce the trigger pull distance and also make it so you get some tension on the trigger just befor it clicks.
i got this done for my HK416 already and it's much nicer. you can feel the switch just befor it clicks.
