ARES M249 MKII Spring Upgrade
I want to upgrade the Ares M249 to 110M spring.
Can I do it without upgrading other parts? This gun have only 280-300 FPS and a plastic GEARBOX. http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper...at_STAR%20AEGs Thank you. |

The stock internals in an ARES/STAR M249 can handle an M110 spring no problem. Might want to swap some parts if going to an M120 or higher but an M110 is only slightly stronger than the stock spring. If the stock M100 is giving you 280-300fps the M110 will bring you around 330-350fps.
Only bad thing is AREAS/STAR are known for easily fried motors. |
