Bunch of noobie Q's
Hi, me and my dad used to live in Northern Ireland and had airsofting as a hobbie, but once we moved to Canada we had to sell all our equipments etc. now that we r here in Red Deer Alberta, we want to get back into airsoft again... and i have a bunch of questions to ask and i hope u guys cud help me.
1) I read that airsoft guns in Canada must have clear plastic on it...would it be legal to get rid of the clear plastic and replace it with a something else? or would it be possible to spray paint over the clear area,so its not visible anymore? 2) Is there any airsoft clubs in Red Deer Alberta? if so could you pls provide me with a website. 3) What requirements do you need to be able to participate in games? would a person under the age of 18 be able to participate in events, if their parents are with them playing? 4) Which website is the most reliable to purchase airsoft guns+equipment etc. thanks in advance |

Three major clubs in Alberta. (starting from the south and heading north)...
1. Calgary - www.jocairsoft.com 2. Red Deer - RAAT (dont know their website address) 3. Edmonton - EAR (dont know their website address) Alberta also has clubs in Brooks, Medicine Hat, Lethbridge, and Fort McMurray I believe Darklen and Canadian Psycho are from RAAT. You can pm them on the ASC boards. |

they also come to many of the games held in calgary as well as the Battlefield Games during the summer held in Olds. The BF games usually attract quite a few players, mostly from Alberta, but also from Saskatchewan and BC. Last years game had over 150 players. It starts in the afternoon and plays right into the night. Hope to see you at BF5 this year, if not more. |

AH a fellow Red Deerian. If that be the case check out:
http://raat.hyperboards.com/index.php? And for those that don't know on ASC go to the Community tab and go to Alberta and scroll to Red Deer and you are directed to our boards. Darklen is the guy that you should PM on those boards, or myself. I'm on there just about everyday. I go by the same callsign there as well. Its still pretty slow right now game wise but things should start picking up soon. Persons 16+ can play here with parental consent. Also we do not allow mesh goggles here, PB goggles are fine but we suggest you remove them from the rest of the mask. |

My friend you are in Luck, Alberta has a good community of players. Just filling in some missing info:
Edmonton and area - Edmontonairsoft.net I recommend being registered on all 3 of the forums, it's a pain, but you are 1.5 hrs from either city (edmonton/calgary) so travel to larger events is very easy. |
