Thanks in advance, Hoople97 |

Yes it is quite big in manitoba.
http://moutairsoft.wordpress.com/ http://www.xtreme-tactics.com/ & http://www.mb-airsoft.com/ How involved you can be depends on your age. |

Xtreme tactics is the indoor facility in winnipeg, MOUT is geard towards MILSIM.
and the MAA has both a MILSIM aspect but hosts many more easy going games. as well as scrims every sunday (once the season starts, the scrims now depend on the weather) these are great for new guys to come out to, its a very easy going fun time, no need for alot of gear and equipment, you can show up with an AEG and jeans if you want, its been done befor

hi there if your looking to go xtreme tactics has a web site you can always call and see if there is a group coming .. i try and go twice a month or more right now and will be getting my own gun soon my fiance is deaf and plays as well .. and wants two hand guns and a mp5k now .. and we are now making our own custom masks .. just tried to use the alginate (sp?) and messed it up the directions in the box were ment for doing hands arms not for the face so trying it again tomorrow but used plaster of paris strips and seems to have worked well and now just finished pouring the plaster into the mold it is a cool project .. cost more to do than buy one off net to start but once perfected will be cheaper and can do other people's for them

THere is a community and it is quite large and very friendly.
Keep an eye on the MAA website for the FNG day, its looking like sometime in April. Thats usually the first big game of the year (except for our global-warming sponsored scrims lately) |

The Manitoba airsoft community is a growing on. There are new players coming into the sport almost everyday. There are some different organizations here in Manitoba that can help you out with any infromation you might need.
1) M.O.U.T http://moutairsoft.wordpress.com/ 2) MAA http://mb-airsoft.com/ 3) Xtreme Tactics http://www.xtreme-tactics.com/ Feel free to contact myself or anyone from the area for more infromation. Also there is a open house coming up in April 26th/2009, checkout the prairies section in the Games and Events Schedule

M.O.U.T is hosting a spring introduction day called NOOB day April 26th 10 mins north of the city on HWY 7. It is free of charge and proceeds will be donated to a local mission. Check out the details on the prairies section on this forum or on the M.O.U.T information site HERE .
Come out and we can help you get into the world of airsoft and MILSIM. Dont worry about not having much gear. Try a few things out and see what works for you. We also have the most private fields in Manitoba at our disposal. We may not be legitimate as far as registering with sport manitoba... we are definitely a thriving organization full of legitimacy and individuals who don't worry about the politics of organizations like sport manitoba who do nothing for us anyways. Waste of energy if you ask me lets get more focus on good quality games like Operation Cleaver and Operation Cold Front ! . Like Gren said drop us a line and all your questions will get answered Last edited by MacRae; February 18th, 2009 at 19:06.. |

Hey this is exactly what I was looking for too. I have been playing at xt every once in a while for a couple years now, but I want to get into airsoft more seriously (and outdoors too...) I was wondering, in general would the community at large be ok with missing some games, or are they really stringent with attendance??

not sure with the MOUT association, but the MAA, in all honesty you can come out once a year lol there is no attendance at all
but no one comes out once a year... all you need is 1 game/scrim in you and suddenly you will show up to all the others lol it happens to a lot of us, me included

It really is. You try it once and your hooked. It's like a drug......but a good drug......one that wont land you in the back of a cruiser.

true that S.Steve
to answer the question more elaborately to become a Manitoba Airsoft Association official member you need to keep attendance regular. the M.O.U.T community will run fewer games but larger in scale for the MILSIM fix. We do not run on rules and regulation that way. so if you are a go getter and want to play a hand full of games ..come out and play check the website for upcoming events that are planned in advance ... (so you have ample time to book it off) |

The greatest team in Manitoba that focuses on real infantry tactics and team work. And based on real Canadian Infantry platoons, full section attacks etc. |
