Stupid Question about the G&P Bipod Adapter Install
OK. So I got a Harris Bipod, Realized it didnt come with the Rail Adapter, Bought that separately, Got it in today, and I dont see any way for this to attach to the bipod. goes on the rail fine....What am I missing..Help.. the rails are standard and the adapter part numbr is GP196. thanks in advance

Reference this pic.
Your's might or might not have a wheel (right in the middle of the middle picture) in the center...some just have a screw head. Loosen the wheel/screw. You need it pretty loose but don't try to take it off. As it loosens, the 2 "fingers" (just above the wheel/screw) can be pushed up to stick up through the saddle (in the right picture, they would stick up above the saddle). Pinch these onto the adaptor nub. It'll be all floppy. Tighten up the wheel/screw and it'll snug up. Tight enough...is tight enough. Unless your's is real steel...I wouldn't crank hard on it, something is likely to bend/break. Whether you have the legs flip up forward or backwards is up to you. I usually set them to flip up forward. Hope that helps, best of luck. Tys |
