M4 Mag Compatibility/ Jam Problems
I'm running a standard JG M4 with a D-Boys metal body with a King Arms metal one piece hop up unit. Using the stock JG hicap mag.
I keep getting jams (as in bb jams in my barrel). I've added oil to the nozzle area, which stops the jamming for a while, but since there's so little friction due to the oil, my hop up isn't responsive (my theory anyway). The bb's fly like they've got some hop, but cranking it up doesn't make the bb's curve up at all. Once the oil wears away, bb's jam up again and the hop becomes responsive (I can make bb's cruve up). I think it's a hop up problem, but I've also heard mag's can cause bb's jamming too. Does anybody have first hand experience with what mags are problem free in D-Boys bodies? Should I replace my sleeve and bucking (if so, recommendations? it shoots ~400 fps), or should I try different mags? Thanks, Alex

sounds like it has nothing to do with the mags.
what hop up rubber are you using. |

It's just a stock rubber from JG. And even if it's not the mags, anyone know how well King Arms metal mags feed in D-boy's bodies? Thinking of getting some.
