CA M15A4 Problems
Hey guys, I just received my new airsoft gun in the mail. I read the manual hooked up the battery and inserted the clip with bb's and attempted to fire the rifle.
I can feel as if the gun is trying to fire but nothing comes out. I have a interllect 8.4V 1400MaH battery. Any idea what im doing wrong? Blitz |

Check the battery, even if the gun tries to turn there might simply not be enough juice in there.

I assumed that the battery came semi charged like cell phone batteries. Is this not correct?
I did attempt to hook it up to my Winstar Automatic racing battery pack charger but the green charging light did not come on so I assumed that it needed to be used before the first charge. |

AFAIK, batteries specifically made for airsoft do not come charged. You'll want to charge it.

Be sure to allow the battery to fully cycle, depending on what you have there might be memory issues.
Glad it's only that, I'm anxious myself to put a battery in my new M15A4 CQB. *Soon my precious, soon...* |

So instead of making a new thread I guess I'll take over this one.
I have 2 things I am having problems with. 1. I have had a long loosing battle with my M15A4 and it's firing on semi. Sometimes I can shoot all day on semi, but most of the times, It'll lock up and kinda make that REHHhhh noise. I can shoot fine on Full Auto. At first I thought it was my batteries. But I have have used probably 6 now. 8.4, 9.6, doesn't seem to matter. I have recently re-shimmed and am still having problems. I am thinking though that is a problem with my trigger assembly. The trigger pull is not as smooth on semi as it is on full auto. I guess if someone knows what's up then I'll try and fix it. If not maybe I'll youtube it. 2. I am noticing that my mags need to be held into the well or else they won't feed. It started with my KA mags, but now my STAR mags are starting to have the same issue. If I insert a KA or STAR mag it might get one or two shots off, but then the vibration from the shots will jiggle the mag to a lower position and my gun will end up dry firing. The problem is solved with I hold the mag with upward pressure. Thanks guys

Actually make that 3 things.
3. I tried putting in a Systema one piece hop-up unit in and bbs seemed to dribble out the barrel. I put my stock CA one back on and everything is back to normal. I am stumped on this one.

2 might be a misaligned hop up chamber or you might need to make some modifications to the mag. I know my King Arms mags had the same problem and I had to use some tape around them. Some people have suggested using a screwdriver to CAREFULLY bend out the part on KA mags where the mag catch catches. There's a couple threads on this.
3 is an air seal problem of some kind with the hop up if I'm not mistaken.
