Dont get me wrong minis are ok for small guns , but why run a mini in a ak when a large will fit. Also im sure your ROF with the aug is quite low , especialy at the end of the day. |

Same at the end of the day as it is at the start. ROF is still decent.

Running fuses it largely useless (unless you are using a Li-Po battery), so don't worry about a fuse on either end, your mechbox will frag itself before the fuse goes in a lot of cases.
If I were you, I'd worry MORE about the switching part of your plan. Have a switch with a DC rating of over 15A that you can fit on your gun without being a huge lump on the side? Good luck with that. |

i think that plans been scrapped.
i was just gonna have the battery inside the stock and have a stick battery with a wire running down through the gap in the back of the receiver and through the stock with the other wire and just unplug one battery and plug the other in. an extra battery in a pocket someplace does sound like the better and more cost effective solution because i already have spare minis

i have my MP5 wires going to the rear but i also added an extension to the foregrip ( i can use either minis in the foregrip or large in the stock ) but i have no fuse is that okay? ive used it at a few games now with no problems Edit: nvm... this has been answered already :P |

In order:
1- Get new gun 2- Remove all the wires INCLUDING the fuse 3- Replace with high grade silicone wire 4- Install MOSFET 5- Re-shim, clean and regrease/lube the mechbox 6- Have fun! I did a double battery setup in my G36K. I simply wired two wires from the front to the rear, with a female plug at front and a male at rear. That way, if I am not using the foregrip battery, I just have to plug wire at the place of the battery and use the stock battery. Having a double setup can also be made just by having the wires go to both ends. You can leave the fuses there, it does not mather as long as there is no battery connected on BOTH ends at the same time. |
