AEG firing like a shotgun
Just a quick question:
What would make an AEG begin to stop firing normally to several BB's firing out of the barrel at once. Plus, when the BB's do come out of the barrel, they only go about 10 ft. Any suggestions or solutions to this type of problem? FYI: AEG was working perfeclty before. |

which AEG do you have? i rented a FAMAS once, and the V.1 gearbox was giving me all kinds of problems.

It is a custom built C7A2, with systema internals.

Just as long as its not a gearbox problem im happy:P But when you mean "too tight" as in the nub is pushed in all the way?

Had the same problem when my AUG hopup was put too high. I know it's kinda noobish, but it happens to the best of us and isn't a far stretch- I panicked when it happened.

yes, same for me.
the nub is pushed in not all the way, but too much. BBs roll back inside the barrel and stack together, and come out the barrel as a shotgun spray with very low range (like 2 meters? )

Check the C clip on your hop up unit, the one that holds the barrel and hop up unit together. If it's cracked or split (common) then it won't hold the inner barrel in place, every shot will push it forward a little bit more, allowing more BBs to enter the breech at the same time, thereby causing numerous BBs to fly out with every shot, at a greatly reduced velocity. Seen it a few times.
