PTW - what Cylinder to use

This thread probably belongs somewhere else... but i figure with all the flaming going on about PTWs.. this is probably the safest place!

Anyhow, for outdoor fields ive been using the blue Cylinder (shoots about 375).. is that what most of you are seeing? or are alot of you playing with the Gold Cylinder? what FPS are you really getting? i think that most field limits onteh east coast is 400fps.

BTW.. i have the CQBR..

thanks for the input

I remember asking same question with same topic before, but here:
M90: CQB
M110: Standard Skirmish
M130: ON SEMI ONLY for sniping
M150: Home defense/ murder weapon (aka dont use it in skirmish)

OK, now for some data:

M110 in my CQB-R is 355ish with 0.25g
M130 is 390ish with 0.25g

I mainly use the M130 for fields that allow 420-430. After various chronos, those fields are OK with it. For the fields that require 400 fps, I have to stick with the M110, as the M130 is over by about 25-30 fps.

I don't use 0.20, and most players don't either, so many fields have a number for use with 0.25g.

Same here...our team uses the blue cylinder as our ground standard..... the black I can piss harder, and the gold is just a little too much.
Red.....I have tried it once.......its been banned from gaming...LOL
Also with the blue we use .28g bb's.......only sometimes we use the .25's.

I don't think we ever chron'ed the black to be honest but with blue, we all (the 5 on our team with ptws) chrono'ed 320-325fps with .28's.. I got a chance to shoot the red cylinder abit last week with the 12v battery, I wish we could game it cause its ruthless for power and range but its just too much for anything under 80-100feet. Could make a great longer ranger riffle.
