Leaking Mag
Hey, I got a KJ WORKS P226 and my mag has been leaking. As soon as I fill it, when the magazine is vertical or horizontal it hisses constantly without stopping until i let the gas out. I unscrewed the valve at the bottom where you put in the gas, the main o-ring is fine and lubed up, I believe it might be a tiny o-ring the wraps around the pin which is where the propane adapter goes.
I tried tightening the valve as well. Any ideas or someone has a similar problem with this mag? Thanks! Last edited by tetra; October 5th, 2007 at 14:15.. |

Hi. Not sure if this is too late a reply but this is supposedly a common problem with KJW mags (at least with most anyway). I had this happen with one of my mags too and to fix it all you need to do is tighten the allen-key screw at the bottom of the mag (it's next to the valve where you fill the mag with gas). This screw keeps the upper and lower part of the mag together and it's in this crack (where the two parts join) where mine and a lot of others experience a leak. Tightening the screw should fix it.

Worked for me like a charm. Maybe try unscrewing the fill valve, wrap it in a little teflon tape and screw her back in. |

And NEVER leave the mag without gas in it.
