TM M16A2 Misfire problem
My TM M16A2 is pretty new. I recently installed a JBU reinforced outer barrel and also a 6.05mm inner barrel that came with the outer barrel. I take very good care of my gun, lubing it once a week.
Here is my problem. I have been at TTAC3 for the past two weeks and my gun is consistently misfiring. The stock magazine seems to work fine. This only seems to happen when I use the new King Arms 120 round magazines. What can I do to fix this misfire problem? |

Get a file and grind a little bit off the BB stopper at the top of the mag. Don't take off too much.

Does it do this with just that one magazine or all the magazine's ?

Try spraying a bit of silicone into the magazine, through the bb openening.
IMO King arms mags are a bit finikcy. Hope that helps...

By BB stopper, he means the thing that stops BBs when a mag is out of a gun. Not the plunger.

The bb stopper is fine. I once emptied the bbs out of the mag by releasing the bb stopper. I thought all the bbs were out, but there were still some in the mag, below the bb stopper.

........
then something is definitely wrong with your magazine. |

Would stretching the spring a little bit solve the problem since there will be more tension against the bbs?

Oh wait, some BB's were still in the mag? Then yes, maybe your spring is a bit too weak. That would definitely cause you gun to not feed. Were you storing the magazines full of BB's?

At the time yes. But when I took them out to TAC last night, I only loaded 40 in them. They have a capacity of 120.

if you are going to open the mag, take a look at the inside walls of the BB shaft.
make sure its smooth and that there are no plastic burrs left over from the mold that could get in the path of the BBs

seeing as they are plastic and not metal, im not really sure you can take them apart as they may be glued together.
