The guy who did the upgrades agreed to pay for half the shipping back to him and try to fix it. Also if he doesn't get it fixed, he will be letting my use his personal weapon for the milsim.

I've only worked on TM M14's, but the problem you are describing sounds familiar... Check to see if there is a spring that connects the mechbox to the motor cage. If so, it's probably installed wrong and is being squashed by your stock, which means the trigger will not return it's proper position after being fired.
Remove the spring and install so it sits as flush w/ the mechbox as possible. |

I've let the guy know everything thats been said here. He said he would fix it for free of course so it's going out monday and I'll hopefully also be picking up an upgraded Thompson!
