KWA Glock 18 very inaccurate
Hey i just got my KWA glock 18 2 days ago and its really inaccurate. I adjusted the hop up all the way to the right, which corresponds to down, and the bbs are still very inaccurate and I dont know what to do about it.

Hop up has nothing to do with accuracy.
If anything, it makes it more inaccurate. It only provides range. |

What do you suggest i do or do you know a possible cause?

Define "really inaccurate". With the stock barrel you're not going to be shooting quarter groups at 30 feet.
How far of a range are you shooting from? What's the grouping like? |

Ok well when it fires the bb goes straight for about 40-50 feet then curves drastically upward. Im not exactly looking for any specific type of grouping from a range, i just dont want it to curve sharply up.

that means you have the hop up on too high
turn the hop up down until the bb trajectory straightens out |

im using matrix .20 bbs and no i did not clean the barrel, although i took a look down the barrel and there was nothing that could possibly alter the flight of the bb. Ill run some .25 bbs through it tomorrow but could it possibly be the fact that the gun is new and really lubed up so that the hop up or other parts are not functioning properly? maybe it needs to be broken in, but that really doesnt make sense to me i dunno?

More lube on hop up means less friction which literally means little to no hop up at all. Dry sticky hop up rubber means every BB overhops.
Two years ago I was annoyed with my 0.25g overhopping when they felt like it (KSC G19), so I said to heck with it and started using heavy BBs, 0.36g, then 0.30g, then 0.43g, now I bought some 0.28g that I'm using in various guns. I prefer the heavier ones because you can get extended range accuracy (ok, like person sized targets at 100ft easy) with them, and even with hop up on full (I keep it that way all the time) they never overhop. |

BB flying straight up = too much hop. Check to see if your hopup is stuck, happened to my ak once.
