TM AUG 500 fps setup..
Just replaced my stock TM hop-up rubber with prometheus red hard-type. Still can't get a good groupings of bb's.
My setup before is just SP120 and the accuracy is veery good.. Just wondering why i can't get a good accuracy with my 500 fps setup.. Anyway.. barrel is still on stock. I tried firing my AEG on a pizza hut box on just 10 meters away... and the groupings is like 8 inches in diameter... REALLY BAAD!! anyone help pleasE!!

What weight of BBs are you shooting?

theoretically at higher speeds, bbs are more easily to be thrown off course especially in a stock barrel
either get a tightbore or just as The Saint mentioned use heavier bbs for the time being |

I tried running a prom hard red hopup in my TM M14, and it was so off-spec that bbs wouldn't even get past the lip of the rubber, they would get stuck there.

DYORD, what weight BBs are you using? At that velocity, you would HAVE to be using 0.30g or heavier BBs to maintain stability. |

I'm using .28g bb's.. Well.. it's somehow cheaper than .3's.. But many people told me that .28 should be fine. I've seen people with 600fps uses .25 and the groupings are fine.
About my battery.... I'm using Sanyo NiCAD 9.6v 2400mah Sub C battery. I have a battery pouch attached on the stock butt of my AUG.

I personally find this solution to be too bulky for me. I'm trying to attach my battery (10.8 4400 subC) in a pouch beside the receiver's rail. i'll send pics when it's done... |
