Getting Silicone In Duster?
I've come up with one thread upon searching this and am just wondering... do I really have to transfer tanks in order to get the silicone into the duster? Is there a way to get the droplets down the tube? (http://www.active-tech.ca/b2c/redire...ID=402A%2D450G)

You'll need an adapter to inject the duster from the can to your mag. The tube and trigger top that comes with the duster from the store have to be removed and the adapter sticks on top of the remaining tube. You put a couple of drops of silicone oil in the adapter.

Try wacking it on the corner of a table... usualy works for me. They are jsut clipped on top of the can...
Try not to hit it too close to the actual can, because you can rip the outlet tube you need. |

I'm actually working on a project to do just that!
I've developed a kind of high pressure syringe for shooting a measured dose of silicone oil into a container of unlubricated gas. It's compatible with duster and propane adaptors. One shot and the container is completely lubed. Manufacturing is under way already. No more periodic drips!

Good to see MadMax focused on development/production of handy gadgets like the one mentioned above...

Soon I hope. I'm working on tooling for the assembly run. I think they may be ready for sale in a few weeks.

I need to rethink my way of removing the damn lids... I usually push up on the trigger to snap that part off and out then snapping off the side plastic... but this time I lost a hell of a lot of compressed goods when pushing off the trigger.. not to mention freezing my hand. :P
