G36C Upgrade

1. What would be a simple way to up the Rate of Fire for my TM G36C. My gun is stock, I have a 8.4v 1100mAh battery. I shoot .20 bb's.

2. I want to upgrade my stock barrel to a stainless steel tightbore barrel. Is this a good idea? What manufacture should I order from? I am looking at Deepfire right now.

Thanks for your help

For ROF upgrading to a 9.6v battery would do, you might want to replace some of the internals as well (piston, pistonhead). Get some more advice on that though because I'm not 100% sure

If you can, go with a brass inner barrel. They're smoother than stainless steel or aluminum. Check out www.airsoftparts.ca. They have Mad Bull 6.03mm tighbores for the G36c, though they're aluminum.

i know for a fact that if you upgrade a G36 shooting 350fps to a 9.6v large battery the rate of fire shoots up to about 1200 rounds per minute

I'm still trying to find a 9.6v battery that would fit in my G36 with no mods. Anyone know of a site?

I personnaly have bought a large front grip to fit normal 9.6v large batteries.

Ex (wgcshop.com):
Grips - First Factory
FF-ACC-G36CLHG
First Factory G36C Large Handguard In Stock US$65.00

I run 9.6v NiMh 3000mah and am satified with the ROF. For the inner barrel I personnaly would go with 6.04mm Systema has they have 0 feed issues (compared to 6.03).

For internals I would recommend the following:
- Systema silent head set
- Prometheus Hard piston
- Prometheus Spring guide & spring (ex: MS110)

That setup guarantees stable performance at about 360-370 FPS. I personnaly have been running a similar setup for over a year now with no problems.

Don;t you need a longer barrl if you get a bigger front grip?

The particular aftermarket large grip in question is designed to house a large battery without any other changes or additional parts.

The simplest way to increase your rate of fire would be to use Intellect 8.4v 1400mah mini batteries. BB weight doesn't affect ROF, BTW.
