The RAP 4 is CO2 powered and there is an airsoft conversion for it. It also has adjustable muzzle velocity and rate of fire. I'm not trying to take away from his version, just replying to this statement.

Apparently the Rap4 is crap for accuracy. Cool gun though.

Very cool IMO, would be a worthy alternative to those hating the sound of AEGs, but dont want to go back to the classics.
I wonder if you can still use an Autoback bolt on the AKs after this, and would it possibly travel farther? (on the AEG, the bolt moves 1/4 of real steel...) Keep us updated! Cheers, Alex |

Some update.
(Test Enviroment) Toyko Marui AK47 Fullsize with MGC(sample unit) installed 0.2g Marui regular BB Taniokoba 500mm Twist Barrel (Tank) 68ci1500PSI (FPS Data) 270FPS at 60PSI 330FPS at 75PSI 400FPS at 90PSI (number of round data) My scuba tank's PSI had decreased because I charge several times,so startin pressure on my paitball tank was 1500PSI.I set output on 90PSI and tryed to see how many shot I can shoot.I counted up to 1,200 shot untill PSI on tank dropped to 200PSI This means,if you charged up to 3000PSI on 68ci tank, you can shoot 2,400 shot with 90PSI. (Shot to shot consistency) It also show nice consistency. After I did ten shot average test,it was within 4-5 FPS defferences. But I also see there was more defference when greese on mechbox has been wear out. After I cleaned and put greese,I confirmed it become more stable after some running. So far I can say consistency is on good level and I am satisfied with this result. For more detail, check my blog please http://monsterairsoft.blogspot.com/ |

There is three merit on MGC4AEG.
One is FPS is fully adjustable,so you can change your gun's setting depen on field you use, such as indoor low velocity regulation and outdoor high velocity within 30 seconds without opeing mechbox. Secondary, mechanical noise is much less than normal AEG.Piston moves only 1 inch. Third, cost effiency. When you upgrade your AEG to 400-450FPS,you need to change gear to better one,and good gear set cost like USD50-90.Every time gear has gone, you need to spend 50 bucks.MGC use regular TM gear set,so cheap to exchange, cost much less than running AEG at high velocity. This is one of my answer to advanced gas gun system which can be used for many scene, which works very reliable and flowless. Concern for bringing balky tank?Well, now you guys have very good air system for paintball, carbon fiber tank which weight less than alminium and can hold a lot of air.Once you get used to it,it won't bother you less than you expect. Just a few update here.
Now I am taking order for V2 and V3 mechbox with bleed valve which works on 75PSI(60 PSI limit I need you to use with this valve). It mean MGC has FPS limit with this bleed valve now.It will be 350FPS when PSI was 60PSI,which is less than leagal FPS limit in Canada. For more detail, check out my blog too. http://monsterairsoft.blogspot.com/ You can check other owner's review now from here, there is video taking MGC is working too. http://www.classicairsoft.net/forum1...?TOPIC_ID=6864 |
