ICS M4 + M203 = Battery ?
Searching hasn't found a clear answer on this, so here goes. I'm getting an ICS M4A1 shortly and am planning on getting a G&P M203 (Non-RIS version) to mount on it. Now, my question to anyone who has a similar setup, can you still fit a 9.6V "V" battery or Nunchuck battery under the upper handguard? I'm not a huge fan of external batteries or battery boxes
Thanks! |

Yes you can. I have my TM M4A1 with a SP M203 and have 2 9.6v 1700 mAH "V" nunchuck batteries. I can put one under the upper handguard as well on in my ICS AN/PEQ-2 LAM.

Or you can go with a Crane stock! I'v done one on my ICS M4A1,I used a G&P one and a 9.6 2200mAh G&P battery. It all seems to work realy well with the ICS brand. Not to sure if that's something you'v looked into or not? Just an idea!

Thanks for the replys guys! I looked at the Crane stocks, and while I like the idea of easy battery storage and slightly better balance with the battery out back, for some reason I just can't get myself to like how they look

Ya, you can, Ive run V or C shape batteries in my ICS M4A1 since I got it, they fit perfect in the upper half of the grip. Shouldnt be a problem
