Real steel stock on CA870?
Can a real steel stock fit on a CA870 without modding?
I have been searching the forum with little luck and google is helping even less |

No. You will have to do some modifications. Nothing to the gun but to the mounting hardware and on the stock where it meets metal receiver. The bolt that holds the CA 870 grip is a metric thread so you will need a metric bolt that is long enough to reach for your stock. Threaded rod and Metric nuts and a hand full of washers can be gad for less than 5 bucks. I put a Hogue stock on my sons 870 and that was pretty much all that was needed (plus a pot of coffee)
The houge stock is hollow so the angle of the CA 870 grip bolt wasn't a problem. A wooden stock might be a problem. |
