Diffrent between Western Arms SCW and Magna system?
I'm trying to find a metal slide for my new Western Arms Wilson Combat CQB S.C.W. without much luck at all. I need a black one.
I found someone who has the fallowing slides, this is a quote from the message he sent me: 1) PGC Wilson CQB slide in blk-USED 2) Shooters Design Wilson CQB slide in blk-USED 3) Shooters Design Wilson 1996-A1 V12 (Vreaker) slide in blk-USED all in excellent shape and are for the WA MAGNA system. .NOT SCW. So the SCW and magna are diffrent? My box says both SCW and WA Manga Blow Back on it. I'm not too up on GBB's. AEG's are more my speciality. Can I use any of the above slides at all? I'm guessing no then? I didnt even know WA made CQB's that didnt come in the boxes that say SCW. Hell does anyone know where I can score a slide?

The SCW build uses design principles outlined in the Magna blowback patent so technically an SCW GBB is both SCW and Magna (not Manga).
That being said, SCW slides are compatible with SCW/Magna only whereas slides for non SCW slides are compatible with non SCW (oft referred to as Magna now) only.
