ALL TM armalite barrels are multi peice. There are three peices, the slug to the delta ring, the extension tube, and the front end assembly.

The best and first upgrade should be the metal body. The troubled problem with Armalites are cracked body tabs. Once these are gone, having a slick one peice barrel in front will not matter. Once you have installed the metal body, barrel wobble will be so much more less noticable and ussually only require a tightening of the delta ring.

A one peice barrel IS a good investment later on as it WILL solve any issue with barrel wobble. Save for the very seldom required tightening of the delta ring, which thread locker helps. But the overall requirement of a one peice on the TM M733 is not really an issue. You will have lots of inner parts requiring upgrade and replacement before you get around to the barrel.

Did you get the plastic bushings hauled out yet?

I had a TM M733 with a metal body and RIS on the front, once it was all installed and done there was zero barrel wobble. I was thinking of getting a one piece outer barrel but after the other bits and the wobble disappearing I decided I didnt need it.

One solution I found to help prevent barrel wobble on the TM barrel, was wrapping tephlon tape around the ends of the extension tube and litterally JAMBING the extension tube into the slug that is secured by the delta ring. This does make it very hard to dissassemble the barrel assembly later on. It took two of us to pull it apart, and it ended with each of us on our asses... Good thing there was beer that day to have an excuse!
