Large cell 8.4v large cell for AUG/M203??
Is there a large cell 8.4v battery that would fit in an AUG? Maybe with some custom work?
EDIT- this is a whole question to itself. I have seen that the TM M203 can be attached to the AUG on the redwolf site. I am stilll waiting for a reply from them. I am wondering if anyone knows where to get the parts or plans to do this project?

You need to get 6 cells in there. The gun will work fine on 7.2 volts as long as the mah are high (and pending upgrades)... like 3600 mah for example.
I think you can cram them in.. say 3-4 in the back, remove part of the plate that holds the mech box and you can for sure get 4 in there. Maybe remove some of the motor cage like an AK's cage. And next to the arm that moves back to the tigger, maybe on either side. (dremal) I remember seeing a picture of someone craming in the batteries. I ran 9.6 2300 mah and torque gears and had good endurance. A stock spring and it would just purr, a pdi 140 and it had a good chug to it. Option B (ducks behind keyboard) Lipo. A 2 cell hi drain (read, good Q) 3300 mah, be about 70$ (guessing). The 2 cell is 7.4 volts and I know 7.2 will turn a stock gun no problem. If I ever got an AUG/P90 again I would go lipo. Each has there own problem and benifits. If you pull it off I would love to see it. |

1. Remove fore grip by pushing the pin. Remeber the spring as it will go pop.
2. unscrew the grub screw under the grip and the metal barrel will pop right out. 3. remove two screws holding the plastic barrel and collar together and then the two screws holding the plastic barrel and hop up together. After that it should be easy. |
