Well L96 to SV98 conversion

I started this more than a year ago, the aim was to create an SV98 springer (transparent shiny green finish, bit darker and less ugly green than in that photo):

The base gun: I was looking for a cheapo L96 or BAR10, I was lucky and find one for 25 USD. It has no hop, nor mag, nor barrel. I already have a Bar10 chamber and barrel. I made it fit and get a custom cilinder head too. I modded the magazine, and bought ACM tune up kit and metall non-zero trigger for it. After gettin' a Leupold replica, placing the cut down G3 fake magazine the base gun was finished:

So I started the wood work (three layers of plywood this time):

I guled the layers together, and after many work the stock started to look like the real one:

I also have to make many additional parts for it:

I stained it green, and started to overspray with colored polyesther resin:

Now I have to wait 2 weeks and assembly it. I won't ever make the bipod system, but I may make the rear, and front sight in the future.

And It was finished, but wasn't good, because of the bad surface of the spray resin, so I removed, and repainted it.

It needs a cheek piece spacer, and some minimal mods at the magazine cover, and rubber eyepiece.

Only one step remain: making epic photos with Makarov, ZSH2 on Kamys/Tigr uniform... And one more: I have to disassembly because safety not working, and have to shoot in precisely.

I was gonna make a jokey post, but that's some of the most phenomenal custom work I've seen done to an airsoft gun.
Make one that'll fit an SKS lol
