Niagara Quartermaster's airsoft field is hosting and running a "MilScrim" (sort of halfway between a milsim and a skirmish/scrimmage) called "Operation Seesaw" this Sunday, June 25th.

It's a six and a half hour game, running from 11:30 to 6. I've participated in one of these events run by NQ before, Operation Emerging Reign, and it was a great event. Longer than a 20 or 40 minute skirmish, shorter than a 12 or 24 hour MilSim, it's a fun "half-way" point between the two styles of play that is focused and interesting without being too serious or requiring larger investments of time and planning.

I am going with my son and a friend, leaving from Toronto at 8:30 and arriving in Niagara at 10ish. Game briefing is at 11:15 and kick-off is 11:30.

We have room for one more player and their kit in our car and would like to offer a ride to anyone, newcomer to Airsoft or old salt, who would like to play with us. Or if you want to lone wolf it and just need a ride, that's fine too.

We can pick you up from Eglinton West TTC station at 8:30, or anywhere +/-5 mins off our route from Allen Road to 401, 401 to 427, 427 to QEW and QEW to Victoria Road (near Niagara).

We all love meeting and playing with new people and my son and I are good at working as a team. Our friend is new to the sport but I think he'll do well based on what I know of him.

We will leave from the field about 30 minutes after end of exercise (basically as long as it takes to get packed up) and should get back into Toronto for 8 PM. If everyone who comes is amenable, we might stop for dinner to debrief and tell war stories.

Hi Kokanee. I originally did post there, but then I noticed that all the other posts were actually about events, as opposed to organizing to go to events. By contrast, General seemed like low-traffic and not buried in a sub-forum.

Certainly if old hands feel like that forum is the better location, I'll head back there.
