Mags and Battery Questions

Hey all.

I'm planning on getting some shorty mags for my M4 simply because I like the shorties better than the standard 30rounders. ASParts has 2 offerings, both of which seem decent, and I have no idea which would be better.

MAG M16VN 130rd 7-pack (ABS)
King Arms M16VN 85rd 5-pack (metal)

Has anybody tried either or both of these and is willing to comment on durability and function?

Also, can I put 5.56 Magpuls on these (don't see why not)?

Lastly concerning mags, can I use shorties in stock Fastmags, or can I easily modify Fastmags to hold the shorties (cut the top band off)?

Concerning batteries, I plan to get an M16 full stock to power the Tienly 45k I have on my M4. Does anybody know what the best value and largest 11.1V LiPo I can cram in there? (Yes, my gun is LiPo ready lol)

Thanks!

I ran the mag M16VN fine, just place 1 drop of silicon oil in, and you'll be good to go. (Doesn't actually hold the amount advertised), over fill it, and it'll explode.. Needs to get worn in first.

Those nato fagpuls fit fine, but they will sit lower, since the mag bottom is " / "

Try stuffing the fast mags first, with socks, or cutting a noodle up. I ran tacos with them, and went to dollarama to buy a noodle, and cut it and stuffed it in, worked fine.
