mp5 rigs
What's everyone running for pouches for their mp5s? I'm trying to find some tightly packed mag pouches so I can get more than 8 on me. lol.
Right now I have bfg 10 speed pouches and they feel a bit wide.. like 6 columns to hold 4 mags. I'm looking at 3 SWAT triples or any 3 triples that only take 1 column per mag but I'm not sure how they line up next to each other.

Pantac AK chest rig. You can comfortably fit 3 mags per pouch, so 12 total. If that is still not enough, there is two columns of molle on both sides or you can add mag pouches on your belt until you are happy.

I'll be running double M14 mag pouches. I can get atleast 3 in each pouch, 4 if I really tried. A lot better than running the single stack MP5 pouches. I had bought one of them, it's okay if you only have like 3 mags. But it takes up a lot of space for only holding three.
I have 8 mid caps for my MP5, that's what fits them all for me. |

I run G36 mag pouches and can get 4 (2 x 2 back to back) in each or 3 pouches.
OR A Chicom AK rig, 3 per x 4 = 12. I use the large utility pouch as a dump.

You can use BFG MP7 Ten Speed shingles or HSGI pistol TACO pouches as well. Wouldn't have to get a fancy rig.

I'm using the bfg quad shingles. I don't like them...8 mags for 12 columns of molle is not a great use of space.

I would suggest HSGI Tacos too, but they are pretty price now, $3x for just 1 small pistol taco lol.

yeah it's not economical to run pistol tacos for an mp5 rig

You want something like one per pouch kinda deal? Or you ok with what the other suggested with the pantac stuff. (Multiple in 1 pouch)
Assuming you're using this for outdoor setup? |

I want to carry more than 8 mags in the amount of space I have 8 strapped to at the moment lol.
I was looking at the SWAT branded pouches on ehobby but not sure if they will play happy beside each other. Here's the 2 quad shingles on my chest rig: the column spacing is 4, but the shingles extend half to a full column beyond so it actually takes 6 columns. The rig panel has 14 columns so the actual space the 2 shingles take up is 12.

I use double m4 pouches with mp4 mags taped two side by side
this way I can easily carry 10 or 12 mags without the insane bulk of regular mp5 pouches. I use them on droplegs... it's the bottom kit
