WE Open Bolt SCAR
I got this rifle long ago. As far as i know its stock.
When i load any mags into it as soon as i pull the trigger with bb's loaded it dumps all the gas from the mag. it does this on all 10 of my mags so dont think its a issue with them. Any idea where to start to look for a problem? Iv got zero clue on how to fix issues on anything. All i can do is tear them down and clean them Will add photos in a little while Last edited by Muxlow; February 27th, 2015 at 21:52.. |

Sounds like you need to send it to 312 Wilson Rd S....
Heh, really, it sounds like your valve knocker is sticking, wether from friction, or from hammer pressure not letting up. When's the last time you cleaned and greased it? Location: YYZ VOR 062 radial, 17.5 DME FL5280 |

could be a broken valve locker, or the little nub on the hammer that pushes the locker is worn out, or could be many other things, youd have to get somebody to look at it

Take appart and lube the shit out of it, including the o-ring in the bolt.
Since you did not shoot it for a while. Then check for function without a mag (look inside the well, fire, and make sure the valve striker retracts when the bolt is about 3/4 rear) |

When i got it, it was unused.. I think i sent one 30 round mag thru it since iv had it. Mainly did in door and used pistols and shotguns so this hasnt been used other then them 30 rounds so cant see anything being broken at all?
As for cleaning and what not its been cleaned and greased up more time then its been to a field. Since the photo uploader is having an issue.. http://gyazo.com/2556c1488511d393f34d95120064a8d1 http://gyazo.com/8cc2b17c86f3561903ddbba3ef109aea http://gyazo.com/a6cff69c3d0309946d50740058dfd066 http://gyazo.com/4a83a407f4c5c8101f72db512ca98695 Hmm.. looking at this last photo maybe that is the issue? Just noticed a little chip off the plastic nozzle. I think i have one from my WE M4 wonder if that would fit.. |

Dont quote me on that but id think the parts that are in the scar are differant to what are uaed in the m4. Better check the manual or a guide online to check how the nozzle is and how it should be from there. First identify the issue (double check every single little nut, bolt, screw, little plastic stuff) and then go about fixing it. Better off just going through the instructions manual and checking one piece at a time slowly and methodically.

that chip will have effected feeding, but would have nothing to do with your venting issue UNLESS you tried to chamber a round with that nozzle (its broken and wont properly feed the bb into the chamber) then are trying to fire it out of battery, that could also make it vent, if not, thats a valve or a valve locker issue
regardless you need a new nozzle, that wont wont feed

Nozzle is done for, and the damage is large enough to be able to jam the nozzle between the chamber and a BB.
Replace nozzle (not the same as the M4 ones, they are specific to SCAR, and don't get the alumimum one, it's crap). However the issue is most likely in the lower/trigger group, and you provided zero pictures of that. |

I'll start there and replace the nozzle.
Stick with the plastic one or is there a better option to go with? (trigger area) http://gyazo.com/49d964c75e17de6fd764a0d18440fa1c http://gyazo.com/e3864f1a79bf86b106570332c0423065 |

Your striker plate is bent a little (the plate held by the two screws).
Your valve locker can be broken too, but you need to remove the trigger box from the gun to check. There is a screw in the back, and an other front near the bolt release (flat heat "set screw", but in fact it goes across the trigger box). Valve locker is on the right side, and should be 1 piece or 2-pieces with a tiny screw at the top. That is the most common failure point in WE GBBR. Get a steel upgrade and you will be fine if it's broken (broken will vent all gaz when fired). |

Not sure how it could be bent or broken when its only had 30 rounds fired thru it? And mags put in and out and not fired.
i can always take it apart and snap some photos |

That's your answer there. Even if it's new, some retailers have the tendency to "play with the gun." Else it could be a manufacture defect. |
