Just getting started in Barrie
Hello everyone,
Last month I took the plunge and decided to get into airsoft this year. I didn't go balls to the wall crazy on my first guns, but I think I did ok for a NOOB. here is the kit I got going so far. Primary is a G&G GC4 G26 30th anniversary, secondary is a WE f226(I kinda shit the bed on this one- shoulda got a TM), I also got some digital camo, with a condor chest rig, tactical belt, and leg holster. Also a helmet, goggles, and face mask. So far I have got one midcap (G&G), and threw some cheap goodies on the rifle to get me started. All I need now is some boots, gloves, a few more midcaps (it seems that f226 mags are a rare thing), and one or two more batteries, and I'm good to go. I cant wait to get out to a few games and meet some of you. |

That's a lot of kit for a months time! If you haven't been age verified do that ASAP so you can see the events that are coming up.

Congrats.
Getting your airsoft equipment can be expensive and exciting at the same time. Your in a good location. There are indoor fields for winter play in the GTA, and some outdoor. For the summer time there is Wasaga and Barrie. Both are paintball locations, but have airsoft on them on the weekends. It alternates locations. Already mentioned...make sure you get AV'd. These forums are full of good people and interesting posts. Hope to see you out on the field this summer. Cheers |

I'm up in the Muskokas but I'll be headin down to Barrie, and further down to the big smoke to play this year! Keep an ear open for a funny soundin dude, I'll help you out with TTP's as much as I can. Jinxx, I literally used that same sling for the last 2 years of my combat postings, it's a good'un! Welcome to airsoft.
If you dont already have one, a smart charger for your batteries is a good item to have. |

Pretty sweet kit for a beginner. Quick question though, is your pattern DESPAT/AR-CADPAT? Cause if so, and the rest of your gear is OD, that is strange as hell, no offense. :P

The bdu's are digital camo in tan, everything else is tan/ coyote. I have plans fr some Multicam though as well as a 6094 style plate carrier

I am usually in CWA a few times a week, at least to visit if not to make a purchase

Oh nice. I've been wanting to get a nice set of DESPATs but can't justify the cost... I just mentioned cause your pic makes the rest of your gear look like OD instead of coyote. Annnnnd cause DESPAT doesn't mix well with OD. That is a nice tan loadout then for indoor CQB, but yeah, get some MC for outdoor; Coyote goes nice with it.
