motor lead wire options

I've been trying to fit in some silicone coated 16 awg wire in my V2 gearbox without great success...

does anyone know where i can get wire with thinner insulation(like teflon), or should i just run thinner 18 awg wire(id rather not).

rewiring gun as previous owner modified it and all the wiring got chewed up by motor and swiveling butt stock(not properly secured)

or maybe you have another suggestion?
thanks

recieved an answer, 16 awg silver coated with teflon(PTFE) coating, should be about 2mm outside diameter
any component/electronic store could look this up
or purchase direct from DIGI-key .... but the price will shock you and most only available in 50-100ft(80-400$) as of this date
