WE AK PMC Stock wobble
Hi guys,
I have a WE AK pmc and the crane style stock is held into the receiver by a single screw. When the rifle is rested or stored on the stock, it inevitably loosens the entire thing. I have to manually keep tightening the single screw. Has anyone else had this problem, and know of any solutions? |

Try putting a bit of locktite on. It might help just in case.

Can't fix my own guns. Willing to fix yours.

I dont know if this will work with the buffer tube because I have a wood stock on mine, but I just drilled a second screw hole in the tang and used a second screw to keep the stock tight

Yeah drilling is easier and safer on wood. I don't know if I want to risk doing that to my aluminium parts.
As for the locktight, is that a screw sealing thing? Cause I don't want to permanently seal the thing. I might need to open up the stock from time to time for upgrades and such. |

If you are using locktite, be sure to use blue , not the red, red is a permanent solution. The blue locktite can be removed by heating the solvent. Or maybe try thread tape?
