green devils are like the universal standard of PTWs so yeah those are perfect.
If you're using an 11.1v lipo, the gun could very well be cycling too fast to allow proper feeding. If it works better with .25g BBs then the mag springs are for sure the issue.

Chopping BBs happens due to the air nozzle closing down on a BB then the piston slamming into it and shearing it in half.

Now that you've had chopping in your gun though, you should take the cylinder apart to clean it. BB chunks tend to make their way back through the air nozzle.

Never had chopping, just suspected that it could be the same behaviour, just with less bb crushing .

Got some 7.4v's as well, I'll try those to see if that makes a difference. Thanks again.

If the mag springs are too strong, the spring of the air nozzle won't be able to overcome the upward force of the next BB. Similar effect occurs; BB gets shot out at very low velocity, but BBs don't get blown apart.

Green devils are all over the place in size, polish and spherical perfection. One bag is OK, next bag unusable.

I stopped using them.

No longer PTW-worthy.

Does anyone know where to buy ptw o rings in north america? Specifically I am looking for piston head, nozzle and cylinder head o rings. This thread suggests polyurethane o rings, will urethane o rings work as well? And what shore is suggested?

Get Age Verified and there's a few for sale on the classifieds here. I honestly wouldn't go for a new one at the current exchange rates and when you're going to have to invest in cylinders and magazines to make it ready to game.
