Replacement Parts??? QUESTIONS
Hello Guys & Gals!!
I just recently got into Airsoft a have a couple question on replacement parts. Guns I own... 1) KJW - M9A1 Beretta CO2 Gas Blowback 2) G&G - GR16 CQW Rush DST Combo Questions... 1) Where can I buy replacement parts online. I am having issues with the seal in my mag for the pistol and it could take them a while to get them in. plus I wouldn't mind having a few extra around. 2)My G&G GR16 has blown a couple fuses now. The first one was due to low battery and the other time I have no idea what happened. Any ideas? 3) Stupid question: What does AEG stand for? I think that all for now... Any help you can give is greatly appreciated. |

1) Typically find them online from webstores. There's lots, do your own homework for finding them. Some specialty parts you may only be able to find from obscure websites or you'll have to fly to Japan and look at random hobby shops who just so happen to have some random part.
2) Personally I'd just bypass the fuse and straight wire it. If you don't want to do that just get a bigger fuse? If you're holding down the trigger for long periods of time and that's what's making it blow you're letting the fuse heat up and blow which is what's causing it. You can also use a nail or copious amounts of tin foil as a stand in for a fuse: 3) AEG = Automatic Electric Gun. Basically uses electricity form a battery to automatically spin gears and pull back the piston (as opposed to spring power/springer where you're manually cocking the gun after each shot or gas powered (GBB = Gas Blow Back, NBB = Non Block Back (typically gas powered, but does not give recoil)) where it releases gas and due to gas expansion propels the BB).

Fuses dont blow because your batterys low. They only blow when theres too much current going through.
Like if you hold the trigger down when the motor doesnt want to turn Otherwise your motor is drawing too much current or your battery has too much current for the fuse (but not for the motor) In short, bypass the fuse, and dont ever hold the trigger down if the motor isnt turning |

Thanks for the quick reply.
What about the pistol. I seem to have an issue with CO2 leaking past the seal that contacts the bottle. Could I be making it to tight?? And damaging the seal? |

You can get virtually any KJW part by contacting KJW directly (kjworks@ms47.hinet.net). I've ordered parts from them before, they were very pleasant to deal with and the prices were extremely reasonable.
