Canadian Customs allowing airsoft guns through now
Recent changes have been made to the Canadian Boarder Services Agency, now allow full metal airsoft guns to be shipped into Canada. These changes specify that airsoft guns that shoot within the range of 366fps - 500fps are now categorized as uncontrolled firearms, making them legal for importation by regular citizens without needs for special permit or license.
Having the 366-500fps range is also great news for us (Canadian airsoft enthusiasts), as countries outside of Canada now sell guns pre-upgraded to meet Canadian importation standards. This is also a benefit, as we'll now have access to new airsoft guns earlier. Down side to this recent development, there will be additional shipping charges and taxes. Meaning the airsoft guns imported might end up cost an extra $100, compared to the current Canadian prices in some, but not all case. This is due to the shipping companies currently being used. So far this has only been confirmed for airsoft guns that are AEGs, no word on the status of GBBRs yet.
