07 Camo Effectiveness Study
After looking at pictures of ATACS and Multicam, I've decided to look for pictures that show the effectiveness of the type 07 camo. This thread is mainly for the Urban type 07 camo, but all users are free to upload pictures of other types 07 camos.

The Type 07 seems to be better than the ACU as a universal camo. However, that isn't saying much, and whether it compares favouribly to the Multicam and ATACS, there really needs to be a side by side comparison of the two. In the future, I expect I'll be doing some side by side comparison pictures.
One thing that I have noticed, pictures of the Type 07 camo in the field is harder to find than ATACS or the Multicam.

UCP is the one you're talking about, (mix of urban grey, desert tan, and foliage green) OCP is the army name for multicam Saying it is better than UCP is disputable, grassland and desert UCP would probably be more effective. But then again, UCP is not a great camoflage uniform, the US army is trying to ditch it for OCP already. |

07 urban digital like all my other buddies Asian camo, Taiwan, and Korea etc seem too bright for the North American battlefield. Maybe the foliage is a lighter shade of green then here in North America. Our JSDF speckled camo is in the mail but I'm pretty sure it's also going to be a bright camo.

It seems like a really good pattern in my personal opinion. It works fairly well in woodland as well as desert or it seems to anyways which is nice. Not to mention in the woods it doesn't have the problem of turning into a giant black blob when wet or at a certain distance like most woodland camo's (Old BDU's, cadpat, marpat, etc). Wouldn't mind having a set!

Massive Necropost, I know, and apologies for that.
However, if you'd like, I can get my friend to get in his MultiCam BDU and me in my 07 and do a bit of testing in grass, wood, urban, and semi-urban. You'd have to give me a bit of guidelines on what you want, though...
