Magpul MultiMission
I find myslef going from 1 point to 2, 2 to 1 point, multiple times during a game, depending on the situation I'm in. The MS2 easily allows for that, a great plus. Unless you run a long Bolt Action or similar, I'd personally just go with that if I were you. |

No love for the 3-points eh guys? I have an Eagle 3-point for my M4-m203 and I wouldn't use anything but. Yes it's not as versatile as a 2 or especially a 1 -point, but it's secure. And when it comes to my $1000 gun smacking, or worse falling, on rocks or concrete versus being alittle less versatile, I'll take the security any day.

3 point sling are pretty much awful and, as far as I know, no trainers actually advocate their use any more. They are completely obsolete and, frankly, you can get the same level of "security" you're looking for from any sling system. I don't think you will find anyone with a VTAC or Magpul sling is afraid of their weapon "falling".
I use a lone-star single point sling, and have for many years. It allows me to shoot from almost any position and it has a quick release, in case it can't go where I need it. It also features a quick release for the sling, so I can take the gun off the sling, or the sling off my body. |
