Battery issue!! Need help!!
Usually dont make a post this hasty but I need advice pretty quick.
Borrowed a buddies gun and battery. NmH. I used the charger he provided. Problem is its a Lipo charger... My fault for not checking I should have. Question is this. Once its cooled down is it safe to use, did I just screw the battery, and will it have charged enough to use it tomorrow if its safe? Thanks for the help. Flame away it was a really stupid mistake I know.

My B6 lipo charger can also charge nimh batteries... here's to hoping the one you borrowed can do the same.
You'd figure if you borrowed the battery and the charger from the same friend that he'd have given you compatible items too....

Depends how hot it got bud. I'd it was hot but not bad like u can hold it comfortably ur most likely ok. Rules or charging nimh are pretty simple. Never exceed te safe amperage on charging. E.g a 1600 mah nimh can be fairly
Safely charged at up to 1.6a. A 3600 mah nimh can safely charge up to 3.6a. Exceeding that is kinda risky but that will charge ur battery in an hour and get the battery pretty bloomin warm sometimes. If it's a smart charger it usually drops charge current off as u reach fully charged etc. Either way nimh are pretty tough. If u plug it on and it won't work the gun or won't function for enough time chances are ur battery is turfed. It won't blow up or rupture like a lipo will so just try it. Ur safe.

Thats Cjay. Yeah it was bloody hot to the point I picked it up and had to drop it instantly.
Ended up being out once it cooled down just had to replace some of the heat shrink on it an do some rewiring to make me feel comfortable.
