Trigger Assembly Wiring Soldered on to Motor

Hello

I recently fielded my gun for the first time and I'm pretty sure the trigger contacts burned out. First the semi auto went, and then the full auto stopped working too. I cracked open my gearbox and went straight to the switch assembly and found that one side of the contact was severely burned, so I'm going to buy a new trigger assembly.

However, I noticed that the trigger assembly's wiring instead of being "hooked/attached" to the motor, it was soldered on. What should I do to connect the new wiring to the motor? I can't just hook it on since wire has been soldered on. I have a soldering machine, so would it be safe to try to melt the soldered metal and "wipe" it off?

Thanks!

Heat it up and use a de-soldering tool. Its' a rubber bulb with a plastic nozzle.

I don't mind soldered motor wires myself. It's unlikely they will shake loose in play.
